Cheeni Kum

This probably isn’t the most “blogworthy” of entries, but I must say that I’m quite excited about the new Amitabh movie coming out this month. Granted he has become the movie "ho” of Indian cinema these days, but his new venture seems promising. He plays the role of a eccentric, Mario Bataliesque type chef in London. That in itself should suffice to see the movie. It then also features Tabu as his love interest, (who seems to be getting better with age) and Paresh Rawal as Tabu’s father. You can’t beat the cast. The music seems to have a background role, but I love the title track sung by Shreya Goshal. Check out the songs and movie website…
